Lockdown drill

In continuing efforts to ensure the safety of Western Arizona Regional Medical Center’s patients, visitors and employees, a lockdown drill was held at the Bullhead City hospital Thursday morning. The objective of such drills is to familiarize employees with procedures required during a true emergency. Securing entrances at WARMC are Security Lt. Tyler Thompson, left, and staff engineer Michael Bruno. The doors were manned during the drill to simulate a closed facility; medical treatment continued normally and patients were admitted through the emergency department.
