Christmas was barely over before trees began showing up in Bullhead City’s tree recycling area at Rotary Park just off Balboa Drive. Residents can drop off their tree in the fenced area — remove all lights, ornaments, tinsel and other non-organic decorative materials — so they may be chipped into mulch and composting products. The tree recycling area will be maintained through Jan. 10. Benefits from recycling these trees include extending the life of the landfill and reusing natural and limited resources.
