Community Achievement Award winners

Brock, along with the Laughlin Substation ended up with the Spirit of Nevada Award and Zenefski was a co-winner of the Youth Citizen of the Year Award. Other winners included:

SPIRIT OF ARIZONA — Chaz Martinez, Southwest Behavioral Health.

SPIRIT OF NEVADA — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department-Laughlin Substation.

CONNIE DAVIS YOUTH CITIZENS OF THE YEAR — Jason Zenefski, Laughlin High School, and Abigail Brown, Mohave High School.

YOUNG WONDER OF THE YEAR — Madelynn MacDonald, Mohave High School Interact Club.

HUMANITARIAN AWARD — Cheryl DeBatt, director of WesterCare Arizona I, Inc.

ENTREPRENEUR AWARD — Anita Bray, Javalina's Coffee Express.

COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATION AWARD — Mohave County Search and Rescue, Bullhead City Unit.

LLOYD SHIRES TOURISM AWARD — Matt Laughlin, COO of Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino.

COMMUNICATIONS AWARD — Chad M. Graham, TV2-KLBC.

EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR — Ava Smith, first-grade teacher at Desert Valley Elementary School, Bullhead City.

PUBLIC SERVICE AWARD — Det. Jeff Viles, Bullhead City Police Department.

LARGE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR — Dot Foods Inc.

SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR — Totally Awesome Printing/Colorado River Tee's, LLC.

GREEN BUSINESS OF THE YEAR — Academy of Building Industries High School, Fort Mohave.
