William E. Foust, Jr., age 74, of Laughlin, Nevada, formerly of Aurora and Yorkville, Illinois, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 in Fort Mohave, Arizona after a short illness. He was born April 6, 1941 to William E. Foust, Sr. and Audrey (Waymire) Foust in Marion, Indiana.
Bill joined the United States Navy after high school and was honorably discharged in June 1963. He worked for Copley Press, retiring after over 30 years of service in the production department. He also worked for the Kendall County Sheriff’s department. He was a member of the American Legion, and former member of the Aurora Jaycees. After moving to Laughlin, Nevada in 2008, he joined the Volunteers in Partnership, helping the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce with events and taking pictures.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of 51 years; a son Mark (Lori) Foust of Aurora, Illinois, and a daughter Malea (Jamey) Immergluck of Naperville, Illinois; a granddaughter, Jessica Foust of Aurora, a grandson, Ty Wheaton of Yorkville, Illinois, and a step grandson, Ryan Immergluck of Prairie Grove, Illinois. He is also survived by a brother, Jack Wigner of Winter Haven, Florida, a brother-in-law, David (Polly) Rausch of Naperville and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his parents-in-law, John and Laura-Belle Rausch; twin sons, Michael and Matthew, at birth; and a sister-in-law, Carol Wigner.
There will be a memorial Mass at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Laughlin. The family will greet guests after the Mass.
