This 4-month-old orange medium hair tabby is among the first batch of cats to make the trip from Needles to the Boulder City Animal Shelter for medical services, so he’s already neutered, has all his vaccinations and has had one ear ‘tipped’ to let folks know he has a home and is being fed and cared for somewhere in the neighborhood. Such care and identification is now the preferred method for keeping feral cat populations in check. Adopt him at the Needles Animal Shelter, behind the aquatics center off J Street between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to noon Fridays. Always check the shelter for missing pets. Call 760-326-4952.
