Their owner’s passing has left two female cats at the Needles Animal Shelter looking for homes. Both are medium hair, about two to three years old: the light grey tabby pictured and her sister, who is black and white. Both are scared of dogs. Both are fully sponsored for shots and spaying, as are all pets at the shelter. Visit the shelter behind the aquatics center off J Street between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. and noon Fridays. Always check the shelter for missing pets. Call 760-326-4952. A licensing and vaccination clinic is being planned for the fall; watch for details once a date has been confirmed.
