The Needles Animal Shelter has a large crop of very playful kittens. Pictured is a female short hair black tabby from a group about six weeks old that include a male medium hair lilac siamese, a female medium hair grey and white tabby that loves to climb and a male short hair black and white ‘tuxedo’ cat. There are also three black short hairs about the same age: one male and two females. All are fully sponsored for spaying or neutering and vaccinations as are all pets at the Needles Animal Shelter. Visit the shelter behind the aquatics center off J Street between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. and noon Fridays. Always check the shelter for missing pets. Call 760-326-4952.
