The Needles Animal Shelter now harbors a total of 18 kittens of various ages, genders and descriptions; most of which are old enough to adopt. This little male is one of a litter of six that just turned eight weeks old and are ready for a forever home. There are two blacks and four black tabbies in the mix, some boys, some girls. Mom is there too. All pets at the Needles Animal Shelter are fully sponsored for shots and alteration. Visit the shelter behind the aquatics center off J Street between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. and noon Fridays. Always check the shelter for missing pets. Call 760-326-4952.
