NEEDLES — The Needles Lady ’Stangs ended their regular season with an NIAA 2A South League away win against Calvary Chapel Lady Lions on Feb. 6.

The Lady ’Stangs in the first quarter had 18 points, Lady Lions four points; second Lady ’Stangs 13 points, Lady Lions 10 points; Lady ’Stangs 17 points, Lady Lions five points; Lady ’Stangs 12 points, Lady Lions three points; to make it a 60 to 22 win.

The Lady ’Stangs again showed their defensive strength by holding the Lady Lions to only eight points in the second half. On the offensive side the Lady ’Stangs were moving with the ball and without the ball effectively and they were making the correct passes.

Leading the Lady ’Stangs is scoring was Preslee Murch with 19 points, Paige Murch with 16 points and Marie Mills with 14 points.
