NEEDLES — The Needles Mustangs ended their regular season with an NIAA 2A South League away win against Calvary Chapel Lions on Feb. 6.

The Mustangs in the first quarter had nine points, Lions 10 points; second Mustangs 12 points, Lions 10 points; third Mustangs 10 points, Lions four points; fourth Mustangs 15 points, Lions 17 points; to make it a 46 to 41 win.

The Mustangs had a good defensive showing but did struggle some shooting the ball and at the half had a 21-20 lead on the Lions.

Leading the Mustangs in scoring was Trey Tsosie with 16 points, Irving Juarez with eight points and Marcus Mills with six points.
