Desert Manna brings $5 bags of fresh produce and free complimentary food items to Santa Fe Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until supplies run out.

Tryouts for Little League are held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ed Parry Park. Players age eight try out from 9 to 10 a.m.; age nine from 10 to 11 a.m.; age 10 from 11 a.m. to noon; age 11 or 12 from noon to 1 p.m. Those wishing to register that day should arrive a half hour before they’re scheduled to begin. Any player missing tryouts may not be placed on a team.

Book club for adults, 11 a.m. - noon. Discuss Carnegie’s Maid by Marie Benedict at the Needles Branch Library.

District 23 visits Eagles Aerie 2599. Hot dog bar, noon to 2 p.m. State President’s Dinner: cocktails 5 p.m., dinner 6 p.m.

Queen of Hearts starts at 4 p.m. with the drawing at 6:30 p.m. A chicken fried steak sandwich and steak fries dinner is served from 5 to 7 p.m. Karaoke starts at 5:30 p.m. at VFW Post 404.
