LAS VEGAS — Needles’ Mustangs and Pershing County’s Mustangs are playing for the NIAA 2A State Championship at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.

Field reports indicated Pershing County was up 17-12 at the end of the first half. John Perez was credited with the first touchdown for Needles; Dillon Horn with the second. A Marcus Turner touchdown was called back.

Pershing led 30-12 at the end of three quarters; Needles scored again early in the fourth, closing the gap to 30-18 which proved to be the final score of the game.
