St. Vincent de Paul board, volunteers, get first aid, CPR, AED training

Needles St. Vincent de Paul's board of directors and volunteers receive first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator training. “It’s great to know how to handle any situation during a medical emergency that has the potential of saving a life,” stated JR Hernandez of the Needles St. Vincent chapter. “Compression only CPR is easier to learn, easier to use and more effective than conventional CPR in certain emergencies,” said George DeLeon, American Heart Association Instructor.
