Veterans Health Administration, High Desert Vet Center donate

Vai Leasau, from Veterans Health Administration, High Desert Vet Center, visits St. Vincent de Paul in Needles to give them a shopping cart full of hygiene kits to hand out to veterans and anyone else in need. She also included pamphlets for veterans with information and telephone numbers on vet center eligibility, PTSD, and readjustment counseling services that are available. Accompanying her were Isis Fuentes and Shannon Dunkle, field representatives from Dist. 33 Assemblyman Jay Obernolte’s office. “We plan on having Vai come to St. Vincent once a month to be available to all veterans who may need assistance,” stated George DeLeon, Needles St. Vincent's store manager and a veteran.
