Women’s Club offers veterans pie; will hold Soup, Salad & Sandwich Luncheon this weekend

The Women’s Club of Needles offers free pie for U.S. veterans during their annual event in recognition of Veterans Day held this year on Nov. 9. Next up for the club is the popular Soup, Salad & Sandwich Luncheon on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16 and 17. Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pacific in the historic clubhouse at 305 W. Broadway. Homemade soup, sandwiches, salad and a drink are included; an assortment of desserts will be available for separate purchase. Tickets will be available at the door.
