BULLHEAD CITY — Police were called about 9 p.m. Tuesday for reports of a body found in the Colorado River near Rotary Park, in the area of the 2300 block of Balboa Drive.

The man was believed to have been a transient, said Emily Fromelt, Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman. People fishing from the shore found the body.

The Mohave County Medical Examiner responded and advised there were no signs of trauma, Fromelt said.

The man’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
