Cargo plane makes emergency landing at Bullhead/Laughlin airport

An Amazon Air Boeing 737 cargo plane made an emergency landing Saturday morning at the Bullhead/Laughlin International Airport. The captain reported smoke in the cockpit and that the flight was coming in for an emergency landing. The plane landed safely with no injuries reported. The fire, electrical in nature, was in a part behind the captain’s seat. A replacement part was flown in from Los Angeles. Amazon Air previously was known as Amazon Prime Air and uses cargo planes leased from other airlines to transport Amazon packages.
