ALCOHOL OFFENSE, BULLHEAD CITY — At about 10 a.m. Tuesday, police were called to the 1000 block of Hancock Road for a welfare check regarding a car stopped in the middle of a parking area with its hazard lights flashing. There were two men inside who appeared to be sleeping, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said. Manuel Francisco Gonzalez, 20, was cited for being under 21 years old with spirituous liquor in body and released. 

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT/SUSPENDED LICENSE, BULLHEAD CITY — At about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to Hancock Road and Highway 95 for a report of a non-injury crash. Charles Herbert Mawby, 77, hit another vehicle, Fromelt said. He was cited for failure to control speed to avoid a collision and released. The driver of the other vehicle, Quinten Louis Quitmeyer, 23, was cited for driving on a suspended license and released. Quitmeyer’s vehicle was towed for a mandatory 30-day impound. No injuries were reported. 

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT/WEAPONS OFFENSE, BULLHEAD CITY — Anthony Clair Pardee, 43, was arrested Tuesday after police were called to an apartment in the 2000 block of Klondike Way. A man there reported that he had been assaulted by the estranged husband of his roommate, Fromelt said. The suspect reportedly was swinging a golf club around and threatening the victim with it. The victim was struck in his back, Fromelt said. Pardee also reportedly overturned several items of furniture in his estranged wife’s apartment in the presence of their children. Police contacted him in the 1000 block of Highway 95, where he was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct with a weapon and disorderly conduct per domestic violence. Pardee was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. 

WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Elizabeth Rebecca Ramirez, 56, was arrested Tuesday in the 1700 block of Dorado Drive on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. 

WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Elvis Manuel Valencia, 37, was arrested Tuesday in the 2600 block of Country Club Drive on an outstanding felony warrant out of San Diego County for a weapons offense. He was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. 

NARCOTICS POSSESSION, MARIJUANA, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, BULLHEAD CITY — About 8:40 a.m. Thursday, police were called to the area of River Gardens Drive and Riverfront Drive for a report of a suspicious man, said Fromelt. Officers saw a man in the area matching the description given by the caller. Officers reported Shayne Lawrence Hansen, 28, was in possession of some marijuana, narcotic pill and some paraphernalia. Hansen was held for court.
