BURGLARY/ MARIJUANA POSSESSION, GOLDEN VALLEY — Lacey Darrell Reeves, 36 of Bullhead City, was arrested Monday after the mother of a resident of the 4700 block of Stewart Mountain Road reported to Mohave County sheriff’s deputies that there was an unknown man lying inside her daughter’s home. The woman reportedly saw that the water was on at the residence and flowing down the street, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said. Deputies entered the house to find Reeves lying on a mattress on the floor with his hands underneath him, Mortensen said. A search reportedly revealed a baggie of marijuana and a syringe. Reeves reportedly told deputies that he had been out with friends, and after an argument, he left and began walking. He reportedly said he became thirsty and turned on the water to get a drink, then entered the home and fell asleep. Reeves was booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary and possession of marijuana. He was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
