AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, BULLHEAD CITY — Carolyn Marie Cox, 56, was arrested May 29 in the 2800 block of Highway 95 after a woman reported that Cox attacked her outside a grocery store. The victim was waiting for her husband to pick her up, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said, and Cox came up to her and accused her of taking a photo of her. The victim then told Cox that she was just texting her husband, Fromelt said. Cox then reportedly became disorderly and got in the victim’s face, and spit in her face and her 4-year-old daughter’s face. Cox was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault on a minor, assault and disorderly conduct. She was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.
WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Nicholas Norman Guiseppe Chapman, 29, was arrested Monday after he came to the police department lobby to turn himself in on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. He was later released by a judge.
