BULLHEAD CITY — The Colorado River Union High School District Governing Board will conduct a special meeting today to hold an executive session to discuss the future of Supt. Riley Frei and the vacancy for manager of the Anderson Automotive Group Fieldhouse.

The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at the district offices at 1004 Hancock Road.

The agenda lists four separate reasons for the executive session. First is “discussion and possible action to amend Superintendent Frei’s employment contract and to assign him to serve as construction supervisor and designate a board member to work with legal counsel to negotiate an amended contract for governing board approval.”

Second is the “discussion and possible action to designate an acting superintendent for the Colorado River School District.”

Third is “discussion and possible action to modify and update the joint adminstrative agreement with the Bullhead Elementary District and direct legal counsel to negotiate any necessary modifications with the Bullhead Elementary School District for governing board approval.”

Frei also is superintendent of the elementary school district.

And fourth, “discussion and possible action to place a district employee on administrative leave with pay.”
