Felony stop on school district property

Bullhead City Police officers gather near patrol cars following a felony stop in the parking lot between the campuses of the Colorado River Union High School District Academy, Bullhead City Middle School and the Colorado River Schools district office near the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Hancock Road on Wednesday afternoon. The white Ford Excursion at left, was reportedly occupied by five juveniles, one of whom allegedly brandished a weapon and pointed it at another vehicle in an earlier incident. No weapon was displayed at the scene. Police emphasized that the adjacent schools never were in danger and notified district officials of the situation. The juveniles were taken into custody as police continued their investigation.
