BULLHEAD CITY — Constituents have the opportunity to receive help with federal agency issues when members of U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar’s staff hold local office hours this week.

The congressman will not be in attendance.

“These office hours are scheduled by staff several times a year all over the district in order to give constituents the opportunity to talk about their issues with federal and state agencies,” said Julie Brown, Congressman Gosar’s office/constituent services manager.

Office hours are scheduled for Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Suddenlink Community Center Room 104, 2380 Third St. Appointments are strongly recommended, and can be made by calling 928-445-1683.

The most frequently addressed concerns at office hours include casework issues for veterans and Social Security, Brown said.

“Those are the most common issues we hear, but people are welcome to speak to us about any casework with any federal agency,” she said.

Gosar maintains offices in Gold Canyon, Kingman, Prescott and Washington D.C.

“We hold office hours to give constituents the opportunity to speak with a real person,” Brown said. “If you have an issue with a federal agency and need help, this is the time to do it.”
