Injured motorcyclist rescued after search

A Bullhead City man suffered serious injuries late Sunday night when he crashed his three-wheeled motorcycle in Fort Mohave. Complicating the rescue of Ed Roza was the fact that when he called for help, he wasn’t certain where he was. Authorities searched in the general area and used a CareFlight helicopter to search by air, Roza was able to help authorities pinpoint his location by notifying them when he heard the helicopter. Eventually, he was found in the vicinity of Calvary Road near Valencia Road, west of Highway 95, in Fort Mohave. Family members provided a little information via Facebook after Roza had been taken from the scene to a hospital for treatment of what were described as broken legs and ribs and a possible back injury. No additional information was available Monday night.
