Kindergartners at Desert Valley Elementary School visited first-grade classrooms Tuesday morning. First-grade teacher Deb McMahon said the visits were to familiarize the younger children with rules and expectations for next year. Each kindergartner was partnered with a first-grader, and the pair worked on a project highlighting a rule the older child thought important for the  kindergartner to know.
