BULLHEAD CITY — The Bullhead City Recreation Division has announced that Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club is once again sponsoring free swim lessons for levels Parent and Tot through Level 2 for the 2014 summer season.

Swimming lessons consist of four sessions with eight classes per session with the exception of holidays, and there are a total of six levels to improve your child’s swimming skills. Classes take place Monday through Thursday and the sessions run for two weeks. Classes are held in 30-minute increments during the morning hours 9 a.m. to noon and evening hours from 6:40 to 8:30 p.m.

Registration is held the Thursday before the session begins at the Suddenlink Community Center, 2380 Third St. Morning classes are accepted from 6-8 a.m. and evening classes are accepted from 6-8 p.m. June 19, and July 2. Session Two will start June 9, Session Three will begin June 23, and Session Four will start July 7.

If you need to sign up for a session outside of Parent and Tot to Level 2, the fee is $20 per session.

“In session one the Morning Kiwanis has sponsored a total of 104 kids. This is just a start to another amazing summer full of water safety and fun,” said Recreation Manager Dave Heath.

For the past 14 years the Morning Kiwanis has donated over $100,000 toward swimming lessons to the children of our community.
