For the third time in a week, the Tri-state was treated to a lightning display after sundown. This photo was from the late Wednesday/early Thursday storm and was captured by B. Edwards of Golden Valley. That storm produced scant rain — less than a tenth of an inch fell in most parts of the Tri-state with some places reporting none at all. A storm Thursday night failed to materialize locally even though the area did receive high winds and parts of the region were in a flash-flood advisory.
