BULLHEAD CITY — Bullhead City police have arrested two teens in connection with a daycare burglary.

Police were alerted after the boys’ mother heard her 14- and 15-year-old sons arguing early Tuesday, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said.

The mother reportedly learned that they had just broken into a daycare center in the 1300 block of Baseline Road, stealing checks and a van.

Police were called to the family apartment in the 2000 block of Highway 95.

The 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary, theft of means of transportation, possession of stolen property and criminal damage.

His brother was arrested on the same charges Tuesday evening.

The older suspect was taken to the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Center in Kingman.
