Pedestrian struck, critically injured

A Bullhead City man was reported to be in critical condition at a Las Vegas hospital after he was struck by a vehicle Monday on Highway 95 north of Hancock Road. According to reports from the Bullhead City Police Department, the man was walking his dog on the sidewalk when he was struck. He was taken initially to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, then transferred to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas with serious injuries. A woman was leaving the parking lot at the Fastrip store on the corner of Highway 95 and Hancock when she struck the man as she pulled onto Highway 95. The dog ran off following the accident but since has been located. The accident remains under investigation by the Bullhead City Police Department. That's pretty upsetting but no surprise since the majority of drivers around here don't stop at stop signs, speed through parking lots, and stop on top of the intersection instead of before
