DRUGS/TRESPASSING/WARRANT ARREST, MOHAVE VALLEY — Maryha October Delre, 30, of Needles, was arrested Wednesday after Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies spotted her riding a bicycle on Agua View Road near Lead Lane. Delre matched the description of a reported trespasser in the Marina Cove Area, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Trish Carter said. During conversation with deputies, Delre reportedly admitted to having jumped fence to reach the water to cool off. A records check showed Delre to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court. She was taken into custody without incident. Deputies reportedly found Delre to be in possession of a narcotic pill. She was booked on the warrant and on suspicion of possession of narcotic drugs and trespassing. She was transported to the Mohave County District II Substation.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT, BULLHEAD CITY — Robert Clay Hurns, 49, of Fort Mohave, was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center after a motor-vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Dorado Drive. Police said Hurns lost control and drove his pickup truck into some landscaping, causing damage to rocks and a mailbox. Officers at the scene suspected Hurns to be under the influence of alcohol, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said, as he emitted a strong odor of alcohol. She said a summons will be requested for criminal charges against Hurns including criminal damage and possibly DUI, pending blood testing results.
