BULLHEAD CITY — Registration for the new school year begins in earnest this week for all nine schools in the Bullhead City Elementary (BCESD) and Colorado River Union High School (CRUHSD) Districts. Students return Aug. 2.

District officials emphasized the importance of registering before the school year starts rather than waiting until school has begun. Registration packets are available at www.crsk12.org and should be filled out in advance. Proof of residency criteria, along with transcript and vaccination information, are also online or may be obtained from each school. CRUHSD students should also complete the form for free and reduced lunch eligibility.

Students, including special education and incoming kindergarten students, should register at their individual schools.  Pre-kindergarten students not already registered should do so at the BCESD special services department, 1004 Hancock Road, Building No. 300. Elementary and junior high school registration is available at each school during office hours, which may vary by campus.

The three CRUHSD high schools have different registration schedules by grade level. Mohave High registration begins Monday, River Valley registration starts Tuesday and CRUHSD Academy registration will be underway Wednesday.

At Mohave High in Bullhead City, returning students have the following schedule this week from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.: freshmen on Monday, sophomores on Tuesday, juniors on Wednesday and seniors on Thursday. All registrations will be held in the Old Gym.

Students new to the district will register Monday, July 24, and Tuesday, July 25, from 8:30 am to 3 p.m. in the Mohave registrar’s office in A Building.

River Valley High in Mohave Valley will be available for registration from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Only incoming freshmen will register on Tuesday. All students may register Thursday and Friday.

At CRUHSD Academy in Bullhead City, registration will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Freshmen and sophomores may register on Wednesday, sophomores on Thursday, and all students July 24-25.

Parents or students new to the area uncertain about which school to attend should call the district office during business hours at 928-758-3961.
