Silver Rider taking Laughlin residents to Bullhead City

Silver Rider Transit buses took Laughlin passengers to the Walmart in Bullhead City on Saturday afternoon. Mike Jackson, executive director of the South Nevada Transit Coalition, said he is enforcing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regulations due to COVID-19. The Silver Rider vehicles now have limited seating, so clients must sit at least six feet apart; for instance, the 14-passenger bus will allow only four riders at a time. “I figure our service to Bullhead City will increase soon because of Aldape’s closing,” he said, in reference to the Laughlin market that shut its doors last week. The round-trip fare is $2, which must be paid upon boarding. There is a free fare transfer for anyone riding the fixed route service to the SNTC facility at 260 E. Laughlin Civic Drive (adjacent to the Colorado River Food Bank).
