Structure fire in BHC

Flames and thick, black smoke greeted firefighters when they arrived on the scene of a structure fire in the 800 block of Palo Verde Drive in Bullhead City around 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Two structures reportedly were involved. The Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Department assisted multiple units from the Bullhead City Fire Department as personnel worked in 110-degree heat to contain the blaze. No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was called in to assist occupants of the two homes. No additional information was available Thursday night. The fire remains under investigation. "Flames and thick, black smoke GREETED firefighters when they arrived on the scene of a structure fire?" You folks should really hire a better "Editor" for local stories as this is an inappropriate use of the term "greeted", look it up. Also, a recent story regarding the worsening COVID-19 situation in the area by quoting a local health official and showing a photo of him SMILING? ear to ear. Really? Once again VERY inappropriate. This kind of thing would not fly at a high school paper, so please act a little more professional.

Desert Bat

new arrivals are greeted by police cameras. Let's see, what would be a more appropriate term for having all your privacy raped away by an unaccountable police state?

the city of new york would have 100 firefighters on this fire.
